Garden-Ville Victoria on FM 1686 handles brush and clean timber for the Victoria County area and the surrounding Crossroads region. Like the other Garden-Ville yards run by Texas Disposal Systems it exists to recover woody material for mulch and compost, so what it will and will not take is narrower than a general disposal site — but the rates are among the lowest published anywhere in the region.
Ordinary brush is $59.50 a ton with a $29.75 minimum, which is roughly half the tonnage rate charged at the company's San Antonio brush yards. Dimensional material — larger trunks and sawn sections requiring extra handling — costs $66.11 a ton against a $33.06 floor. Untreated and unpainted wood is a flat $50.00 a ton. Because the minimums are set at half a ton rather than a full one, a modest trailer load here is genuinely cheap.
The contamination penalty is $100.00, applied to any load found to contain rubbish, soil, treated timber or anything else outside the accepted list. That is a third of what the San Antonio yards charge for the same offence, but it still dwarfs the cost of a normal load, and it is worth pulling out stray bags, wire and painted offcuts before you set off. Treated lumber, in particular, cannot go through a composting line at all.
The yard opens at 7 on weekday mornings and stays open until 4, shutting at midday on Saturdays and all day Sunday — a slightly longer weekday window than the company's other brush sites. Sales tax applies to all services. Householders in Victoria carrying general rubbish rather than green waste should note this is not the right gate for that material and will need a municipal or landfill option instead.
