The Weatherford Landfill on Old Brock Road is the main disposal site for Parker County, taking household trash, construction and demolition debris and bulky waste. It has changed hands more than once — older signage and directories still call it the Durham or RAD landfill, and later IESI or Progressive Waste — and it is operated today by Waste Connections. The gate number is (817) 596-4171.
Parker County's own facility listing gives the opening times as Monday to Friday, 7:00am until 4:00pm, with the site closed on Saturday and Sunday. The county adds two warnings worth heeding: all items for disposal attract fuel and environmental surcharges on top of the headline rate, and the site closes on some holidays, so ring before setting out.
Waste Connections requires personal protective equipment at its landfill gates. Nobody reaches the tipping area without a hard hat, high-visibility vest and eye protection. If you turn up in a t-shirt and trainers with none of that in the truck, expect to be turned back, and it is the single commonest reason a household trip to a private landfill fails.
We are not publishing a gate rate for this site. Waste Connections builds every one of its facility pages from a shared template, and the rate table that renders on the Weatherford page carries a heading for a different landfill entirely. A figure lifted from it would very likely be the wrong facility's price. Until we can read a rate off a properly rendered page for this site specifically, the honest answer is to call.
What we can say is how the pricing works. Rates are charged on net weight dumped, so a light but bulky load is cheaper than it looks and a trailer of soil or roofing is dearer. Weatherford utility customers are understood to receive a resident rate with non-residents paying more, which is worth asking about directly with a current city bill in hand. Household hazardous waste and liquid waste are not accepted.
