The Kingsbury Collection Station sits at the corner of FM 2438 and County Road 204, on the Old Seguin-Luling Road east of Seguin. It is one of two collection stations Guadalupe County provides for county residents, the other being at Marion, and it is run under contract by Republic Services rather than directly by the county.
The station takes household trash and recyclables from residents whose bulky items cannot go out for kerbside collection. Single-stream recycling is free, so cardboard, newspaper, aluminium and the usual household materials go into one container without sorting. Tyres are not accepted at this site, and commercial users are not allowed to use it at all — contractors and businesses in the Seguin area are directed to one of the private haulers instead.
The gate is open four days a week, Wednesday through Saturday, from 8:30am until 4:30pm. It is closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. The site number is (830) 303-9317, and the City of Seguin also lists (830) 253-2357 for it on its utility literature.
The county publishes no per-load price or minimum charge for the station, and it does not state which payment methods the attendant takes, so confirm both before you drive out. Guadalupe County's two stations have been through a contract disruption before — both closed for several months when the county and the operator could not agree terms, reopening in November of that year — so it is worth a call to confirm the site is open on the day, particularly around public holidays.
